If not, you may soon. Many industry analysts and pundits prognosticate that Android will soon overtake Apple's iOS in both popularity and marketshare. Recent growth shows the Android is gaining, but I guess we'll see how things shake out. For now, we build Android apps.

Two reasons we like Android: Open-source software and open market distribution. Programmed through open-source code, the Android development process allows great freedom and flexibility in designing the function of the app, and its look and feel. We can incorporate gestures, shake/tilt, geographic and location awareness, custom animation, and back-end data feeds. And that's just what we can do now. Tomorrow will bring us even more. Moreover, no one likes to be told how to do something or where to do it. Fortunately, the distribution of Android applications allows for freedom of distribution.

Anywhere, anytime

Worldwide, people are eliminating their desktop computers and traditional communication and entertainment devices in favor of laptops, smart phones and tablets. While some would-be users wait to see what technology platforms will shake out in the immediate future, many more are already taking advantage of anywhere/anytime information, communication and entertainment.
